Can't you at least release the info on how many PC's you blocked?
Don't know the Insider numbers, but probably the same as Intel 70% vs AMD 30% market share.

I agree that Microsoft could provide some feedback relative to progress being made to resolve the AMD issue.
You would think they would have released a statement before the weekend.

FWIW I have a screenshot of the actual error trying to install build 17035 upgrade to a VMware VM of build 17025. So much for this build on any physical or virtual installation of build 17035 with a host using an AMD processor. Attachment 163207
i've been getting that same error message trying to update the last three new releases with no success at all and my processor is intel

I wonder if there is a connection

All this talk about amd (I use amd) is really pointless.

It will get fixed as soon as possible.

We have no idea if fix will be a patch via uup, a full iso etc, a complete new build etc.

We just need to BE PATIENT.

I'm patient, MS is under pressure to release new builds all the time, just look at our forum, 3 days with no new build and everybody gets bored. What I would like to see is WHY and and WHAT is so different with AMD system. There are several Ryzen based chips coming up very soon and with them new AGESA code and all present BIOS versions have to be completely rewritten. Intel doesn't have AGESA, that's solely AMD feature. That's my best guess.
    AGESA - Wikipedia
Us, Ryzen owners, are eagerly awaiting AGESA v1.0.0.7 to make better RAM compatibility and speeds to 4GHz possible. There's also DDR5 in the works for next couple of years so all of that has to be prepared for.

Reading some of these posts and the anguish some have expressed suggest that this latest release has caused life changing reactions....come on this is after all a Beta.....get a life.

Does anyone remember the registry hack to fix the Windows Spotlight problem?

Edit never mind I've found it.

Was it in the last place you looked?

    What is it, BTW?

Just wasn't working properly. It's the lock screen variation. I might have known there would be a tut about it.

Anyone getting the GSOD on this build? I'm getting the GSOD on my desktop and my laptop. After a couple of restarts my laptop seems to have settled down. My desktop crashes about every 5 - 10 minutes. The error says Stop code: Memory_Management.
