Complete removal / reinstall was first thing I tried. Does not work.

You could try this brute force reinstall method which I have used when I have had strange problems.

    1) completely uninstall onedrive using Rev Uninstaller, doing deepest scan to remove all traces of any registry.

    2) go to onedrive on line and download installation files.

    3) Reeinstall - yo may find it complains with an error. Ignore error and click on personal installation button, and wait a bit and it then seems to work ok.

If the above fails, then I have no idea what to try next.

Are you having same issue on all instances of build 17035? Have you tried to reset/repair Windows and also Store Apps?

Both my VMs run OneDrive happily. No issues.

It means you have to make a second pot of coffee, and while waiting you fire up your favorite web browser and navigate to OneDrive. Once logged in, you should look for a download link for OneDrive. :)

EDIT: This is where you should go using your browser of choice:

Thanks, Slice! I used my Java Browser! :) I'm gonna update a VM with the ISO I made and see if I get the same mini-disaster......

OneDrive has no issues on virtual machines. It's the physical installations that have this issue. I'm syncing one personal and two OD for Business OneDrives with a total of 500+ GB, I can't let all of them to sync. Have to find a solution.
