This on a Oracle VM. What kind of CPU do they emulate? Intel or AMD? How do I check?

Edit: I'm running on my Lenovo K450E which has a Intel Core i7-4770.
VB emulates whatever the host uses so you will emulate an i7.

Waiting for WZOR's build. It sucks to have get 3rd party ISO's but WU is really terrible this time. Maybe it's just as well - I'll monitor how this build is working (or not)

Still no luck mate thanks, Failed to install on ‎08/‎11/‎2017 - 0xc1900101
I’ll play around with the bios and try fresh install but I doubt I will get anywhere

Just used the registry hack to change the physical Build 17025 to Skippy but still no update offered. Looks like I will have to wait until WZOR releases his Build 17035 OR if some kind soul has made an ISO they could PM a link to I'd appreciate it. I'm off to Linux for now.

Did it freeze at reboot as before? Do you have uefi bios?

Yes mate same as always, froze on first reboot windows logo without the circling dots

Yes I have the option to enable or disable UEFI in bios and I’ve tried both without success

Not sure if I should give up, I doubt this problem will be resolved without upgrading the hardware
It’s a shame because other than not being able to install the last three new builds, I have been very happy with this computers performance

Downloading WZOR's combo 17035 while I'm in Linux. I have 3 17025 VMs on ice (i.e. suspended/paused) and if none of them updates to 17035 will attach the ISO to the VM and run setup.exe. If that succeeds then I will do the same for the physical machine. My BIOS seems unable right now to boot off an ISO anymore for some reason. Naturally I don't want to be called out so you won't see any links to WZOR's site but its rather easy to find and like I said WZOR is basically an unoffical Microsoft site - as is this forum. Still would appreciate an ISO made in the "free" world but I am determined to continue beta testing. I wonder if Microsoft has put me on some kind of s..t list but that would more paranoid than I want to believe.

    Cheers
