Today I tried to download the 17035 build from my AMD E 350 processor and it showed the computer as up to date. It means that Microsoft has NOT yet fixed the bug with AMD processors or that Microsoft is not bothered about AMD owners and will go ahead with the next build, probably 17041 or 17042. Whether the AMD bug will be carried over to the next build is a moot point.
Not much to do. They have to wait till next build. Can't install patch, if you don't have the working system to put it on. Admit, that MS should do this fast..

With all due respect, that's a fine story of your experience and great information to pass along, but whichever keyboard your using today it seems that the Shift key is not working to capitalize letters and words properly.

It was a struggle to read through your post, for although my eyes see the periods at the end of a sentence they are also looking for the first word of the next sentence to be capitalized. It's the way our eyes are trained to read in a fluid manner. Also, it was a rather long paragraph to struggle through. Is your Return key not working as well?

In addition, as I'm sure you know, in the English language the word "I" is a proper personal pronoun and should also be capitalized as well as other proper nouns that you used. For a second there I thought I was reading your post on an iPhone.

Please don't take this personally, but I cannot and will not read your posts until you get that keyboard fixed.

    Good day to you, Sir.

We have to wait for build 17040 which has been the current canary for a few days and likely to be released tomorrow or Thursday. I did obtain an 10735 from a friend on this forum and it would never get past the first boot. If you are interested I can repost the error because it is unusaualAnnouncing Windows 10 Insider Fast+Skip Ahead Build 17035 for PC-windows-10-2017-11-10-19-07-59.png

Well I've had Intel graphic driver problems last 4 or 5 builds. Had to uninstall and re install Even wrote most up. Finally several days ago HP issued a bios update mainly addressing the Intel Graphics driver and it seems to have worked well.

If you mean the complete or partial log, go ahead we've got time to kill.

You may want to try a little different AMD recipe from this Intel failure in the SAFE_OS phase in the second post.

After install of 17035 without problems I updated Avast free from Version 17.7.2314 to 17.8.2318.
At next reboot build 17035 keeps crashing with a green screen!
After remove of avast 17.8.2318 in save mode, startup 17035 fine again.
Others with this problem in RS4 ?

Thanks but the posts on the above thread all refer to failures with an Intel processor. Frankly, I don't think I will ever use an Intel processor.

The current canary is still build 17040 which is encouraginig. Now I'm going to eat breakfast and come back and D.S. will have released this build which will support an AMD processor
