Edge doesn't function properly in this build, the blinking cursor mark doesn't appear in either google search or when I type in forums while in Yandex it works fine.

My experiment with using an iso on a vm on amd pc failed - it got stuck with infinite waiting circles eventually. After a few hours I closed vm down and it reverted to 17025.

Thank you for your feedback. And your bravery going where most of us were afraid to go.
Thanks for trying, Martin. Think it's because the host system is AMD, so gotta be something in the chip-set drivers or such. Who knows.

    Nice try, though!

It really is strange, no bizarre, the same members each have the same problems with each new iteration.
In what must be close to 100off W10 Insider releases I have never ever been unable to update....the only conclusion I can reach is most of the problems encountered are self made, or some members need to find a witchdoctor to remove the curse.
I've had mostly success with updates; however, there have been times when I couldn't update.

So, from your assessment, those few times an update wasn't successful were caused by myself, yet I did nothing different on each failed update attempt than I did on each successful update attempt.

Sorry, but I can't buy it.

A quote from an earlier post of yours in another thread:

Referring to quote below, did you find out if your PC was cursed, or what self inflicted reason caused that failed update in your case?

Thank @f14tomcat! So it fails because of an AMD processor? First time for anything I guess. I wonder how many machines MS runs these builds on before they are released to the upgrade servers.

    Thanks for that.

I ran dir c: and it lists everything in alphabetical order. So then if .old is still there it would be listed in the W's as windows.old?
YW! Yes, dir C: should give you the first level contents of your C: drive, same as highlighting C: in Explorer. It's just assurance that Windows.old is gone before you boot back into Windows.

Sooo is it just me so far?, I did have audio running after I shut down last night which was a couple of hours after update to 17035.1000. Then I rebooted and it was gone - the service was listed as 'Starting' but nothing ever changed, tried another reboot then a power off cycle no luck so I thought I would fix it in the morning. In the morning I turned it on and all was working again till 8 hours later. Foolishy updated Nvidia drivers and nowI have no audio service running - it is constantly in a 'Starting' phase again. Drivers for audio are apparently MS as of November 10.0.17035.1000 hardware is all listed but cannot as mentioned get to Audio Service to start. As I am typing this it has automagically fixed itself again - so thats about 10 minutes from reboot till audio gets running?. Help?.

I see in the information that appears in "My computer" that one of your PCs has an AMD processor, if you are trying to install this build on that PC, you can't do it because Microsoft blocked the installation of this build on PCs with AMD processors, maybe you did not read the release notes in the first page, if that is not the case, please ignore my answer.
Lol, he did it intentionally to see if it can be bypassed or run in a VM.
