I all ready have Skype classic.....aka the "REAL" Skype for desktop. Now this thread states that this is the new Skype for desktop when in fact it's just a revamped Skype app. MS can call the app what ever they want but it's still just the app and just more of MS trickery and blatantly misleading users.
The only thing holding me back from moving from "Classic Skype" to "Skype for Windows 10" is not knowing if it's possible for my Skype contacts to be able to see if I've opened their Skype message box?
Anyone know?
EDIT:
To explain it better: When I right click a Skype contact's message box I'm given a list of options that includes: "Call", "Send IM", "Send Video Message", "Send SMS Message" and so on.
When I open a contact's Skype message box and I simply read their messages, is it possible for the Skype contact to be able to see that I opened their message box even if I didn't send them a message?
