Anyone experiencing opening a second or third item in a second or third instance of Paint and not having it show but is suspended as a background process in Task Manager?
Sorry if this is in incorrect Thread .....
Posted earlier and thought all was well.
(3) Desktop PC(s); comparable hardware, same home network _ 40Mbs. All Updated normally from Build 17017 to 17025.
(2) PC(s) continue to run normally. (1) runs for hours, normally, but at some restart or boot, Green Screen and displays:
Stop Code: Terminal_Server_Driver_Made_Incorrect_Memory_Reference
What Failed: 32kbase.sys
After steady cycling of this green screen, was able to revert to 17017. No issues. Tried 17025 update again and it completed _ ran entire day and evening without issue. First boot this morning and back to same Green Screen cycling. Now back to 17017 again.
Please advise any steps to take to resolve ! Are there any files on other PC(s) which could be utilized to fix this?
Thank-you so much !
We need full computer specifications and driver versions for all hardware plugged in the failing computer. The error you receive is related to incompatible driver. Thus Terminal_Server_Driver_Made_Incorrect_Memory_Reference
This error can also occur with incompatible software installed.
UPDATE: While trying out early Beta versions of next Windows releases, I recommend running it in a VM or at least unplug everything non essential from the test computer. Early Windows builds are always very unstable on some hardware, and the more hardware and software involved the more likely it will mean trouble.
Where is preferred location for drivers you need to see
Once I opened I opened a Regrun file mr.mr with Notepad a great new Notepad icon was applied to the file. Looks real nice. FWIW if Dmitri found malware I trust him completely and in this case, he killed Clover (no real loss actually). Here's the payload of the kill after booting in safe mode
[KILL_FILES]C:\PROGRAM FILES (X86)\CLOVER\C:\USERS\MRF23\APPDATA\LOCAL\CLOVER\
I'll get a report back from him on the results.
From Dmitri Sokolov's eamil.

I have found malware WIN32-PUP-Gen in your report.
Save attached RNR.rnr to your desktop.
RNR is a special file for removing malware from your computer.
It is a text file that you can open using Notepad to ensure which problems will be fixed.
