You do not understand. Download iso, mount it as a drive, and run setup.exe to upgrade.

You only need to download it once.

Exactly what I did on my 2nd & 3rd machines. ISO was created from the 1st machine after the update.

Total failure, download went well and install to 100% then restart and then a total boot failure with bios boot looping will not see c drive at all

I couldn't get the FCU when I checked for updates. So, I went directly to Microsoft's Official site and clicked on "Update now". From there, everything went really smooth for both of my PCs. The only issue so far was to re-import my bookmarks In Edge. Below is my Winver screenshot:

I prefer to make the USB rather than an ISO (it means I have bootable media for a repair/clean install later, if required).

You use a USB the same way as an ISO, plug it in (instead of mounting) and run the Setup from within Windows to upgrade. The only difference is you have to remember to remove the USB at the first reboot. If you don't it boots from the USB instead of continuing the next step in the upgrade.

I get BSOD when updating to 16299.19.
PAGE_FAULT_IN_NON_PAGED_AREA
This Pc very stable. Happened twice.
No idea why. Can I block the cumulative update?

So far, the only problem I had (if you can call it that) was that my default and secondary OSes were switched around on this dual boot system.

I changed 'em back and all seems to be working.
