Finished all the updates in just under 2 hours. I am now running 16299.19. First thing I noticed so far is that I could not do a quick reply here with IE and had to use Edge. Guess it is almost time to say goodbye to the Microsoft IE.
Slow burner. Looks like this time windows update is pushing it big time as both my machines found it. Our weak machine got an error and said retry and now been stuck downloading 92% for half hour. The other is plodding through preparing to install, going up 1% every couple mins at the moment. Painfully slow
I've clean installed from the MCT USB. When it finished installing the was an EDGE window open with a Windows welcome message. I ran update and it downloaded 4? items which brought the Build to 12699.19.
After 4 hours of downloading i have only 68%, and that's not trouble in my connection speed, i have 5.5 mbps to download, but Update Assistant download update around 200-300 kbps.Maybe it depend on my location, eastern europe, someone have similar troubles from that region?
This is what I see if I don't edit out the (multi edition) part, and where the normal clicks take you. Lame.
It I click the Revert to old download experience, on the page I posted, they all show up. I found them by doing a custom search, so thanks for the earlier post at least telling me they were there somewhere. That site needs work IMHO.
Henry here and I would like to chime in with my 2 cents. Up and running for 2+ hours and as George Carlin once said I have some "Complaints and Grievances"
1. One drive in not opting into cloud only storage.
2. Edge is synced but all favicons are missing.
3. Why when I click on an app do I see a ghost image (transparent) before app fully renders.
4. Back to Edge, I sent feedback asking for Edge to do like Firefox and Chrome, whereas when you open a favorites folder in Firefox and chrome, you can move mouse over other folders and they open. Not so in Edge. You click to open, then click to close, before you can open another favorites folder. My mouse finger hates that, that is the right hand index finger will probably need a Therapist and a Psychiatrist.
5. In the start menu I put my name and organized apps that where there already. When I pin a new app they insert themselves above category name and pinned apps move down.

Finally managed update on SP4 Pro i7.....two and a half hours taken....bloody ridiculous!!!!
This is what Visual Studio downloads shows for info for the two ISO's I downloaded. What seems interesting to me is Pro Workstation is only in the non VL ISO?
EDIT: No MAK keys for it either? Only Retail keys, curiouser and curiouser?
