The current MCT version is 16299.15.

Windows 10 will update to 16299.19 afterwards though.
So he told lies in that comment?

    He just misunderstood. :)

For all HP computers that had failed upgrades it is important to check the hidden Panther logs.

    C:\$WINDOWS.~BT\Sources\Panther
    C:\Windows\Panther
    setuperr.log
    setupact.log
    Setupmem.dmp [$Windows.~bt\Sources\Rollback\setupmem.dmp]
    setupapi.dev.log [$Windows.~bt\Sources\Rollback\setupapi\setupapi.dev.log]
    BlueBox.log
    $Windows.~bt\Sources\Rollback*.evtx

    C:\$Windows.~BT\Sources\Panther
    C:\$Windows.~BT\Sources\Panther
    C:\$Windows.~BT\Sources\Rollback

When you locate the logs create a new thread and post one drive or drop box share links for troubleshooting.

Yeah, we all know that, but @lopedoggie said the new version of MCT was .19, so I asked, if he had not written that I would not have asked anything.

Are you looking for help or something else. .15 who cares as it will travel all the way to .19 if your system can handle it. I don't always post help on here but when I do it will be as close to correct as possible or I ain't gonna post it. I don't lie on this forum or any other for that matter. Been posting tech stuff now for over 20 years and using computers since, do you really want to know, okay 1965. I also ain't responsible if a members system crashes for what ever reason. therefore maybe my posts with some of your own research may be of more help in the future.
