Interest "anomaly" with 17017.1000. I set up a dual boot with 16296 installed in the first 4 partitions. I left about 30 Mb for the 17017.1000.

If I formatted the 5th partition and installed 17017 I got a Scanning and fixing the drive. Leaving the partition blank, I didn't get that message

Good to know. I just did it out of old habit.

This is proof rings have merged - skippy is basically defunct now. I expect the menu option to skip ahead will be removed in due course.

I think it has always worked like that.

I think it will remain as an alternative, and will separate from Fast Ring again in lat January ahead of release of 1803 late March / early April.

Just spoof browser to think it is an android device, or use an android device and download direct from MS.
