Same here - I am trying one more time. This time with Defender turned off Magic beans come next.
and the same crashing bluescreen saying too bad for you, sucker!
Didn't you read the post above? I already tried that. No effect, down to the clean system, without any third party drivers (I was aware of).

Could be something related to chipset.. (we mainly have 4th generation Intel procs, but some AMDs are affected, too)

The computer affected is an AMD but not that old. Of The two that had no problem one was AMD RYZEN AND ONE A VERY OLD LAPPY Intel FROM Vista era. The install downloads and phase one installs; after the restart, the next phase runs, then goes to enter the final phase of install and that’s when I have the BSOD and message. Is that what you get also @AndreTen?
i have also tried an iso install and a clean install with same issue.

I just checked to see my Windows Update in Settings of my desktop and see the message.

Should I wait for this to fix the problem or I have to do it.

Took cldflt.sys from build 17004 Hyper-V Vm, booted to Command Prompt, replaced both instances of it (\drivers and \WinSxS). I would like to say that this error message shown after booting back to desktop is definitive proof about cldflt.sys being for OneDrive Files on Demand:

What is this download? My experience is downloads are labeled and this has no indicator as to what is downloading.

Read through most of this and don't see anything on this... anyone have hints for a Win 10 VM on 16299.15 that has gotten all previous Insider releases (Fast Ring of course) but doesn't get 17017? WU just comes up with 'up to date' (Win 10 Enterprise) for rebooting and power-cycles.
Set content to receive to Active development.

There must be something new with 17017+ I have a GPO controlling who can get Insider builds, and it does just that, turns on Insider. The same VM that has gotten Insider for the last year or so, now says (1) It's part of Insider and (2) Doesn't have those options for type of content.

Is there a new GPO for 1709 that we need to add to show these options for 1803/17017? Arg.....

Wow, I haven’t seen that for many builds and this is first ive heard about this in current builds—but seem to be lots of strange issues with the current build.
