Not sure if a 486 and 8MB RAM is enough for all current apps, but it would be possible to make a decently working system running on a single core 800MHz CPU and with less than 1GB RAM. Mail reading, document editing, Facebook spying and YouTube playback on lower quality settings would be very doable. :)

Any Assembly dialect is good enough. Easy to pick up all other dialects, because the essential parts like CPU registers has not changed much since the x86 CPU was invented. :)

    IBM wasn't x86 though.

Smart phones are super computers for 486 but on the other hand even smart watches have to run an OS. Some early Pentium class system may have better chance.

LOL, yes embedded Linux can easily run on a device with 8-32MB storage, 100MHz CPU and only 8MB RAM. But then one would have to forget about a full desktop environment and all that other fancy stuff.

Nope. I'm talking about IBM mainframe which I suppose was a precursor to the x86 architecture and was register based.

And an hour later, another GSOD, same culprit:

This Cloud Files Mini Filter Driver seems to exist only since version 1703. Anyone knows more about it, has it something to do with Onedrive Files on Demand as the name suggests?
Doubt it's On-Demand related. This is on CU 15063. I had Event Log errors up the wazoo, timing out connecting to some obscure server. Been like that for a while...months on CU. I just finally went into Autoruns and told it to shut-up!
