I have no choice to stop it, once the error occurs. It's a matter of seconds to boot back into 16299.

and the same crashing bluescreen saying too bad for you, sucker!
Did you two find a fix for this? I'm getting the same. Is this related to dual booting?

If it is, it's not happening here. I boot 5 OSs plus Macrium PE, total 6 on same box.

I'm back in 17004, have to skip 17017 due continuous GSOD caused by Cloud Files Mini Filter Driver cldflt.sys. (like clockwork a GSOD an hour after boot). Tested last night 17017 clean install, same thing, GSOD after an hour, and 17004 clean install directly upgraded to 17017.

17017 works well on virtual machines but not on this laptop.
Do you get same issue if you toggle FOD option off/on?

    Yes.

Whatever I did, after upgrading or test clean install later, it was a GSOD 60 to 65 minutes after boot. Also when OneDrive was not set up.

I had 21 GSODs in 21 hours uptime, after which I gave up.

You must have angried the NinjaCat or something. Windows sending msg to MS servers and downloading a sheduled task that is hidden and which is programmed specifically for crashing any 17017 installation on physical hardware by Kari the Finn.

    Malware is called @win32.KTFShdlRootkit

Yeah, evidence is starting to point in that direction. Dona blocking me on Twitter, other team not replying to me, Microsoft sending a bug personally to me that causes a GSOD every hour.

I'm doomed. Might take a look at local Mac store to see what they have to offer...

So, new digital name, spoofed IP address and we're good to go?

Funny thing is, I was the one previously having problems with auto updates not working, and even forced updates not working. But 17017 just showed up on my computer. I didn't even notice it updating, or going through the whole, "Hi" intro. I just woke up and it was on this flight. And everything I've checked seems to be running extremely well.
I'm not happy that they put the timeline in Cortana. I would have preferred a standalone app. But such is life.

Right now in my Windows Update there is an update of Windows 10 Insider Preview 17017.1000 (rs_prerelease). And is waiting for me to install them but I rather wait till all the problems are solved first because I already have tried 9 times so far from before trying to install and failed. I don't know if this update will make through to the end of installation on my desktop or hold off till later.
