First attempt to install 17017.1000 failed at 3rd (75%) restart with Error 0xc1900101. No video for about 10 minutes, so I powered off. Restored 16199.15. I have an NVidia card.
Slowly going through the "Installing" phase again, much slower than the 1st time. Seems to me "Installing" is a bit of a misnomer, when the actual 3 phase install process is still to come!
Upgrade went ok. I believe it didn't like the first download and re downloaded but unsure, was out of the room. Install and ISO went smooth and fast.
Downloaded and installed 17017. Took a little longer than usual. In my Settings/Windows Update /Windows Insider Program it says:
Have not seen this before?
WEK
Went to go work out this evening. When I got back, it was already halfway through the process.
Haven't gotten a chance to play with it yet, but I will soon. Meanwhile, it is Installing (pre-reboot) on my laptop as well.
Mine hung up on RESTART after the status: installation. I manually clicked Restart Now as I always did. This time got message "outside of windows hours" which were set 5:00 AM to 10:00 PM EST. It was only 9:15 PM when this all took place.
???????????????
After waiting 10 minutes, it continued on it's merry way like nothing happened !!
