That depends, how up to date are you? Only those parts of a cumulative update that are changes from the last one you installed are downloaded.

You can judge the sizes involved by looking at the size of the standalone versions of this update in the Update Catalog. For a 64-bit system that's about 417MB (32-bit, 197MB) since last month's one. The whole of this update is 976.2MB (569MB) so that's your maximum possible download.

If you are wondering about the Fall Creators Update, that's a whole replacement of your Windows, about 3-4GB will download for that.

The size sound about right for the Fall Creators Update. It would have appeared in the list when you check for updates as something like 'Features update for windows 10, version 1709'.

Huh I do not have that, just 4-5 1703 updates

Must have just been a horrible connection with my tethering.
