Microsoft rolls out Windows DVD Player for Windows 10 users

I won't buy Windows DVD player for only DVD playback on Windows 10. There are tons of handy freeware like KMPlayer VLC 5KPlayer.
It's free.

If you had Media Pack or 7 Premium.

I have the DVD player, it is Windows DVD Player and located in the W section of the All Apps list. I tested with a DVD movie I downloaded to a disc from Turner Classic Movies, worked good. Seems I got it along with the Win10 Home Upgrade.

I don't have it on my PC that I upgraded from Windows 7 Ultimate on. It's there on 2 other PC's I upgraded from 8.1 Pro With Media Center on though. You have to run Windows update at least once to get it as far as I can tell.

I had to upgrade, as my older version wouldn't play some of my newer blu-rays.

Unfortunately, the player has no blu-ray disc support, lol. So purchasing a third party program takes care of playing DVD's too.
I loaded this player up early though, said to put in a DVD.
Roxio NXT 3 is available on torrents. Don't feel ashamed to pirate software for personal home use lol. I have had all Roxio versions.
