Through Googling I found a free blu ray player that works in Windows 10 and it even plays Disney blu ray disks.

Do a Google search for Leawo Blu-ray Player.

According to one blog, it use to be a pay program but now the company website is offering it for free.
Hmm.. it does seem to have a nice interface. It doesn't have very many reviews though, nearly all search results are for the website or suspect mirrors.

When I upgraded from 7 to 10 the first thing that was uninstalled during the upgrade was windows media centre and I have looked everywhere on my pc for this DVD player and its no where to be seen and I am definitly not paying for something that was on my pc which MS decided to remove.

I didn't get it when upgrading from 7 Ultimate. Ran Windows update several times and it was MIA.

I had a thought, Did you ever open it and use WMC? I did and had set it up used to have a tuner.

It was run at least once on that PC. Did you upgrade a PC from Windows 7 to Windows 10? If yes, did you get the Windows DVD App?

I'm using this software for a few months now (since I lost my disk with my blu-ray player software). Had to upgrade my (external LG) drive's firmware once, but it's doing a good job. Only had some trouble with the latest Transformers movie on blu-ray in the beginning. F*ck DRM.

As I said in an earlier post I've Cyberlink DVD branded Asus. I do have Windows Media Player, that was part of the Windows Live Essentials 2012 I had installed on 8.1 and it migrated with the upgrade. I also have Ashampoo Burning Studio 14, mind you I don't watch DVDs on here anyway so I won't really miss it, if I want to watch DVDs I'll use the Blu-Ray player attached to my TV.

I tried the Leawo player and it does work - sort of. That means it will mount and play a BluRay ISO file, but it won't start by displaying the main menu; instead it just starts with the first clip on the disk. Sometimes it will show the main menu, but selecting menu items does not work, even with their "mouse emulator" thingy. Sometimes the only way to end the program is with Task Manager.

I understand that asking a player to handle BluRay menus is asking a lot, but that's the kind of disks I make (I use Sony Vegas Movie Studio to edit video and Sony DVD Architect Studio to make BluRay disks with scene selection menus) and I would like to find a player that can play them.

In Win7 I used DVDFb Virtual Drive to mount BluRay ISO files, and an old copy of PowerDVD to play them. This worked OK, but I was hoping I could find a simpler solution in Win10.

    Apparently not yet.

I got many BDs, also with menus, all of them are working (except a few layout problems with latest Transformers, as mentioned above).
