That's my plan too at the moment. It can only be a few days before the official release date so there should be something on non-Insider PCs before too long.
Thanks for the info - will give it a go over the weekend.
The curious thing is that even some older versions of the client before 17.3.7064 work with FOD, as long as the machine is still an Insider.
There were other builds prior to 7604 that worked for sure.

This is the craziest roll out ever, but now I understand. Isn't recreational marijuana legal in the state of Washington?
and in oregon and colorado and in all three states impaired driving has dropped drastically since legalization. just saying don't compare microsoft's craziness to washington's, oregon's, and colorado's sane and smart move.

Hmm, why is this checkbox a thing now in the windows update settings? All my other settings already indicate that updates will be downloaded automatically.

Because for many ISP's "Unlimited Data" is not unlimited
They can throttle the speed, or become more expensive after so & so many Gigabytes.

Your stateside conglomerates are pretty good at small print

Even here in Germany, there are some like that too, but not mine

Yeah - I do not see point of that setting. Seems to be a super override - why would you want that?
