Oh and BTW despite UUP the DL was nearly 4GB. Not much of a saving there then.

I know it took over a hour to even get to the boot screen to install. After on my SSD it only took about 10-15 minutes. Very long just to prepare to install. The MCT would have taking about 10 minutes to upgrade.

Just got this installed through Windows Update RP. About a 15 minute download and another 10-15 to reboot and install.
It seems to have left all my previous settings, drivers, and programs as they were. Everything seems to work fine so far.

I will update if I find anything more.

    peace

Maybe that was because I had a failure.

This is a warning for anyone running A mac with a bootcamp partition. If you have recently upgraded to Mac OS High Sierra and your drive was formatted with APFS then DO NOT install the Windows fall creators update from within Windows as you will Not be able to remove the Bootcamp partition. Wait till Tuesday download new ISO from Microsoft Remove your existing Windows partition create new installer using Downloaded ISO then reinstall windows from that. (Sorry if this is slightly off topic)
Surely NOT off-topic!!! At least for me, thanks for the heads up, appreciated. Was this your own finding?

    Cheers
