    Typically 5GB say on a 1TB drive = 0.5%.

    Hardly a tonne.

It uses the amount of ram that you have .

Mine was completely off. I had to start over and link an MS account and pick what I want to receive. Picked Skip ahead and new releases.

Edit: Nope, after rebooting, Insider was not set to receive anything. Had to select again. Picked Active development of Windows.

Interesting read, co-written by the whole Insider team: We Hit Refresh...and then Something Happened
Excellent article. I would have loved to work in that environment. Thanks Kari.

I believe this is totally overstating the case. It would be insane to merge the two rings before actual release, as it would deprive Insiders of the opportunity to "get off the bus" i.e. leave the Programme.

I expect all that will happen is that those uwp apps that have been released to Skippy e.g. Photos with Remix, will now be available on 16299.15.

I have just left the Programme on my main rig JUST IN CASE MS do do something insane.

You can't give reps in Windows News or the Chillout Room.

What's all this talk about problems with Hibernation???

I have no issues what so ever to switch between FastStartup ON|OFF, Hibernation ON|OFF. FYI, those settings are disabled for modification by default in the GUI. You need to press the blue text with a "shield" in front that states "Change settings that are currently unavailable". And yes, on my system hiberfil.sys is 40% of my installed RAM. :)

Just how many Insiders are going to be caught out by this, as you will not be able to leave the Programme immediately, once the new build comes out?

I think it is a bad decision to merge one week before 1709 goes live.

I was told It uses 75% of the amount of ram. When I first installed 16299 my C drive went from 29gb to 45 gb
Mine never did. Just stayed same as ever.
