Some web sites are claiming that the Media Creation Tool is downloading this new version of Windows 10. False. I just downloaded the latest Windows 10 Media Creation Tool from Microsoft's Windows 10 web site and it still downloaded build 15063.

I have no idea where these guys are getting these ideas from.

Yup, they misinterpreted a tweet from WalkingCat and did not check which build downloads the MCT, which is quite easy just by looking at Properties-Details by right-clicking on the tool.

Just updated from 16299 to 16299.15

    Mail app doesn't work.
Cortana doesn't work, she doesn't hear me and renders her menu over the Start menu.

Yeah, I commented on that page and told them that they were wrong.

Yes, some pages in Spanish also made the same mistake, I left several comments mentioning the error two days ago, fortunately and unlike WinCentral, they updated the article.

if you already got windows 10 just pick I don't have a product key then pick same version as you have and it activate automatically
The problem is this is not working. If i a run the root \setup.exe, it doesn't have the option to skip a product key. If I run \sources\setup.exe, I do get the prompt to skip a key, but then it errors out on continuing and says I must run setup.exe from the root. In neither instance do I get to select the version.

If I boot from the ISO I created, it says I cannot do an upgrade, only a fresh install. I believe it was you who posted the xml earlier, and the hash on the ESD I downloaded is the same as in that file.

The above behaviour is correct. You do not enter keys for upgrades (hence no skip option), and you do for clean installs. You cannot upgrade booting from a given media.

If you have a multi-edition iso, the edition is automatically selected during an upgrade.

It can be disabled in Task Scheduler, but if it is disabled Edge and the Search dialogue box will not respond to keyboard input.
