Yes, I did, Dave. en-us, x64. Made a big ISO about 4.3GB. Probably because of all the flavors in it.

i did not do an install but on my current installs of 16299.15 I did get MRT download, along with defender defs.
Yeah, I got that, too. Just surprised to see it on that build.

Onedrive Files On Demand is only available if you are on Insider Programme - I downloaded latest version, and got FOD, left Programme and FOD disappeared. I rejoined (just on Insider Preview) and FOD was back.
Martin, that explains it then. They just haven't cut that loose yet. It's not an integral part of the OS, just a Feature, so it's just not available yet. The 2 that I did an in-place upgrade to RS3 were Release Preview builds of CU, so technically Insider, and they had it.

    Thanks.

It usually goes to RP a week or so before general release.
That'S if the RP users are lucky. I went on RP for about a Year and it was normal to get a RP release 1 or 2 days before the general release.

    Correct.

I left Insider and the FOD stops working. Even the column on File Explorer disappears on most (but not all) views.

You keep mentioning this but no-one seems to notice it or pay any attention.

It is a fairly big deal if you use it (which I do).

Activated and verified. But..... when I did a Check-for-Updates, it DL'd an MRT labeled for Insider Preview.
That same happened 6 months ago, I remember that I clean installed Creators Update (15063) with the ISO that downloaded the MCT, and on April 11th I received an update that said "Insider Preview", in fact, all those who installed CU received the same update with that same name:
