    How can you go backwards from 17004 to 16299 keeping files etc. Surely, a clean install is needed, unless windows.old works?

    Thanks, Leo. Geez, I didn't know that existed. I always close things out before shutting down. I think this is a great feature with more powerful machines we have today, especially in a business environment. We had a conversation about this back on 8F whereas Kari came up with a method. It was too slow on my then Acer, so abandoned the idea.

    I've got 4 programs open that I use regularly. Reboot....
