Thanks Dave and Tairiku. Changed settings and now have 16299.19 ready for restart.

Wasn't really too concerned but will wait a couple of weeks then get back into the development phase.

Actually, I am wanting a new build because the build 16299.15 has been giving me some headache (every time I wakeup the computer it shuts down) instead.

But then comes the funny part, as state before I am on build 16299.15 and trying to install build 16299.19 but see image below what is coming and failing!

    Hey Jay, :)

    What ring are you in?

Fast and Skip Ahead should be getting build 17017 below instead of 16299.19.

    Hi Brink,

I am on the fast ring (Active Development of Windows).

    Is it this correct then?

Everything so far seems to work (hibernation <snip> etc)]
The problem isn't hibernation not working - it does. The problem with hibernation is if you set powercfg /h off every upgrade sets it to on again.

Sure you can reset it but it is annoying as generally to type in such a thing you'd have had a reason to turn it off in the first place.

Wake from sleep seems to be fixed now which is nice though.

Interestingly, if you are on 16299.15 and left Programme, you do not get update.

I tried usual tricks to get it, then just rejoined on Slow Ring and got update immediately.

One of things I checked whilst not on Insider was if I had deferred updates. I had not but I noticed something I think is new.

You get a choice of getting updates(targeted), or updates.

The description was a bit vague.

I will post image later - not at pc now.
I went to release preview got update then left insiders again

What if I wait until the official October 17th date will I then get the .19 or since I did the early ring then left I will be stuck on .15 for the foreseeable future?

Release notes in RS4 (which we are not getting) mention Fast startup and hibernation setting will stay intact from now on..

You must set it up like this. I have got the update immediately after restart.
