What happens to the build once it upgrades to the Fall Creators? Does it automatically drop all the Insider Preview relations or must i do a clean install?

No it doesn't drop the Insider Preview relations unless you choose to leave it. No you don't need to do a clean install unless you want to.

You have to choose to leave before next Insider build is received or else you can't leave keeping all files until April next year.

Yes, running on my Toshiba Laptop too. No idea why.
