Or in my case, just flat-out forgot! :)
Wait till you run out of space - that will remind you.

Reminded me anyway - OneDrive just crashed.

    Correct.

I left Insider and the FOD stops working. Even the column on File Explorer disappears on most (but not all) views.

You keep mentioning this but no-one seems to notice it or pay any attention.

It is a fairly big deal if you use it (which I do).
I compared global.ini from onedrive settings in appdata. A couple of items flip flipped from true to false and vice versa as you joined/left program. Messed around manually switching items, and messed with permissions to see if I could fool it but never got anywhere.

Anybody try to do a clean install using an ISO made from those ESD links Dave provided? If so, I'm curious what you got. It installed fine and quick, so hitches. Activated and verified. But..... when I did a Check-for-Updates, it DL'd an MRT labeled for Insider Preview. And the OneDrive is the CU version, not what's in 16299.15, so no On-Demand feature option. Checking the Windows Insider settings in Updates, it says "Get Started", so no idea how/why that MRT got DL'd. Bottom line, it's deleted and gone. I'm not sure what I got..............

    Comments? Answers? Clues?

    Any/all/none of the above? :)
It still is not working for me as it should.

    I'm not sure.

MS said (in a half arsed way at the beginning of the "Skippy" program) that Store apps would only be updated on Skippy builds. If you were on normal fast ring you don't get them.

Now the thing is OneDrive is a Win32 app, but, it isn't how it is delivered. It is delivered as a Store App.

So, we have to wait I guess.

I still find it funny that no one else noticed/cared that it doesn't work especially as there are @Brink tutorials on how to use it which don't actually work at the moment for people who have left the insider program.

EDIT: It still works if you are in the insider program.

Try converting the binary to base-13.

I did a Clean Install of the ISO created from the ESD I got from the list David sent out.
I ended up with Windows 10 S somehow.
No idea how but I should have had Windows 10 Pro which is what I had on this Laptop before.
I don't remember seeing a list of versions to choose from. Will try it again and see what I get.

Edit: Just tried it again. Went from deleting the existing partitions then clicking Next to Installing Windows, no list was presented to chose from.

    Edit#2: I downloaded:

    Code:
    Upgr/2017/10/16299.15.170928-1534.rs3_release_clientconsumer_ret_x64fre_en-us_f6df8c19358335bc05e638b45bb6c6f8078480a4.esd
and ended up with Windows 10 S as shown below:
    Code:
    C:\Users\rrkurtz>dism /Get-WimInfo /WimFile:M:\sources\install.esd /index:1

I downloaded the ESD again and it's Windows 10 S. What's going on here? What am I missing?
