But then the question is this. If, as I assume everybody on this thread is, on 17xxx (or what ever is the last Skippy) do we stay on that version and just the registry entry get channgedto active). Conversely for those on the Fast/Active track with 16300.0 (my guess at the likely RTM build number) do they then get an update notice on 7/19 or thereabouts to get a 17xxx build? This seems the likely scenario but of course only D.S. and her team know. Or maybe the Shadow:)
On my Windows 2016 Server I have made a Virtual ESXi Server upon which I am running Debian Sid, Fedora Rawhide, opebnSUSETumbleweed and my favorite (of course) Windows 10 IP Build 17004. They are all special snowflakes but the Windows (because it takes the most work!) is my most special snowflake. This is an evaluation of VMware WS 14 but wereall created using VMware WS 12.5.7 for which I have a license. I have been using VMware since 1999 and have the version 1.0 install disc. But the upgrade is $150 (new $250). Whether or not I upgrade will depend on whether WS 14 works on Linux. I doubt I can get it to install and then the VMware Support Team will have to earn $150 for the company by remotely logging into Linux (or maybe they can tell me). Anyway please find below my snowflakes. Aren't they pretty?
Last Thursday compile on buildfeed.net 10.0.17008.1000 (rs_prerelease.170928-1440)
Most likely we will get 17009 compiled Friday later in the week. What will happen on the Fast/Active track.
It is unusual for a .15 build so perhaps 16299.15 is RTM. Time will tell.

I couldn't get skip ahead for some reason. Was there some criteria that they used, or was it first come first served?
Haven't booted up in my Skippy here for quite awhile. Had a little quirk with a live tile on my Start screen. One live time tile piggybacked onto to the leading tile. It still flipped as a live tile should. Flippin' weird. Tried moving it back, but no go. A reboot fixed it. Otherwise this thing is running great.
Been doing some work in Office in it. That works great. Been opening various apps with no problems. I'm enjoying the new NFL app.
I forget which app we were having problems with updating last week, but all updates in the Store are up to par.

Making 17004 and 16299.15 in Windows 10 Education and Windows 10 Professional in 2 VirtulaBox VM's under Debian Sid. I'll spare us the screen prints although the KDE Desktop (which is actually a pseudo desktop in a sense) is very pretty. Form there it is just a matter of enabling shared folders and I can extract the ISOs. But no Skippy build Buidlfeed.net still showing a 17010 Canary. Is Dona giving Skippers the cold shoulder
