Surely you did not read my comments before saying that we would not see a Skip Ahead build for a long time :

I did read these posts. However, I thought you were speculating, just like most of us speculate about the next build. So, I best pay attention to what you are posting, Leo

Took 55 minutes from start to finish including ISO. This time, it updated my realtek internet device but with Microsoft driver. It is the correct driver for my card. The other driver it was trying to install last two times was NOT the correct driver.

Pretty cool the "reveal" effect in the Start menu (the gif belongs to Synergy Insider+ ):

Converted an rs3 build to rs4 - 17004 d/l now - looks like the Nvidia drivers 387.78 are coming with it - is there a way to prevent this from happening?
    Mine stayed ok.....

Other than having to uninstall and reinstall my sound driver to get audio to work, and once again having to DDU the WU Nvidia driver, it was a smooth download/install.

Edit: And clearly I'm going to have to DDU/reinstall my video driver again. Come on, Microsoft, jeez...

    Dick,
As mentioned in the rs 3 thread - I think it depends on the version of the graphic card - either that or I really annoyed the driver Gods at some point.

I don't have 385.28 version - maybe that is the key - I had 385.69 or 385.41 prior to the updates - something to look at in the AM

Not certain, but I believe 385.28 was installed via GeForce.

Everything I've looked at seems working well. Noticed date changes to today for just about all of my non MS apps and some of them also. Don't remember if that's just part of the install or they got updates or checked for updates.
