If you click Quote button in Dick's post, you will see the BB Code. It clearly tells that the first "image" (green highlight) is in fact not an image at all but an embedded tweet instead. The second one (yellow highlight) is then a normal screenshot, an image.
A quick way to check if it's a tweet or screenshot is to bring pointer on top of the time stamp and check if it's a link or not; a tweet time stamp works as a link to that tweet on Twitter.
