    16299

Installed 16299 this morning and it was a somewhat faster install...about 45 minutes. WU also installed NVidia driver 8778 and it seems to be working fine. I will test some more tonight.

NVidia update to 387.78 still messes with Night Light - Feedback will be sent again.

Back to driver version 385.69 - all good - this and a few personal preference adjustments and all is good in the land of 16299.
My Skippy build just did that about 20 minutes ago. My laptop with the fast build has the Intel Video card.

I think it is just the Nvidia video cards that have the issue - and not sure it is all of them.

updated ok this time, then snuck the 387.78 nvidia driver through. Was looking for a downloadable driver to reinstall with but no sign of one.
Go to Device Manager and select your video card. Select update driver. Then select Browse my computer for driver software. Select Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer. You should get a list of all available drivers for your video card. From there you can choose the driver you want.

1080 Ti has not been a problem. 385.69. MS doesn't try to muck around with it.

My desktop running the Skippy build does have a Nvidia card. I only posted to say it's not just the regular Fast Ring that is updating the driver. I'm going to try this driver and see how it works. :)

This build was a surprise . I went out last night and left my laptop running and when I got home I turned it off. Today when I got home from work I started my laptop and without looking I went into settings to download build 16299. I had some driver updates but nothing about this build. When I went back to my desktop I saw that it was already installed. :)

MS keeps sending that driver for my 1080 Ti SLI setup for each new build. Having to DDU and reinstall the newest driver from Nvidia is quite annoying.
