Unusual release date, and stuck at 3% for 15 minutes now.... i luv you, Microsoft...

Interesting, mine is stuck at 3% too...lets see if the DL comes alive soon...

I feel that is a normal behaviour, my update did the same, stuck at certain pints, and then, boom, asking for reboot.

I guess is matter of patience XD, It took roughly 5 mins to update in my case.

1-Stuck at 3%, stopped downloading=Lots of disc activity.................Wait.(10Min)
2-Started downloading again.........3Min...Stopped=.......then lots of disc activity.............Wait......
........Downloading as well a bit ...5% to 50%......Finish(This went quick few minutes)
3-Checking for updates.......Zero
4-Restart Now......Getting Windows Ready............30% Complete......Restart.....Getting Windows ready ...Working on updates 35%...68%...70%..75%...80%...90%...100%....Restart...
5-Boot to login screen.............No disc activity
6-Login=Logged in OK............2 notifications...
1-To make windows better....
2-Check for selutions to unreported problems.......Checking.........Minor internet & disc acivity.......
...............Lots of disc activity......Wait.....Activity Stopped.....Wait.......
7-Assume everything went ok, reboot again.......Fast everything seems ok.....Check for updates=Zero.

Result to me for this KB=........................
1-Photos opened 1st time with a little extra screen="Whats new in Photos".
2-Photos failed 2nd time......This KB did not solve this problem.

I got the same message when starting Photos for the first time. No issues with Photos here though.

Got the same problem. Photos did fail the 2nd time around.
I went to "Apps & features" and reset the Photos app.
When opened after reset I got again the "What's new in Photos". It refreshed the albums and that was it!
No more problems!...So just reset the app.

Yes, it's normal and I've seen it before with other updates. Task Manager shows it's not really stuck, but busy working on the updates...

LOL, 3% takes a lot longer than the rest of the process. PC done without incident and all seems well. Gayle's laptop says it's up to date. I'll wait on WU to decide when.
