I cannot connect to onedrive in a hyper-v vm. I have tried a full uninstall using Revo, and a complete reinstall. I note the ondrive version has been upgraded to 7010 from 6999.

I'll be checking that in my Fusion VM too! Keep you posted!

    Cheers

OneDrive works fine in a VirtualBox VM.

OneDrive works fine in VMWare, also. CU, Insider Fast, and Skippy.

Could be it, I also tried a hot swap HDD bay for 2 x 2.5" drives but it didn't work out so I removed it. Only I'm not sure if problem showed before or after. I also turned of hot swap in BIOS for that SATA port but didn't help any. Changed SATA ports, still nothing. It's still showing it as removable drive and not reading disks.
P.S. it's not first time this happened.
Can see you guys have the same MB. Josey is the only one with Intel chipset and DVD problems (at least in this small group, reporting here).

Check your Sata controller drivers on CU builds and those in Insider... Does ASUS has some SATA drivers on their site?

I'm using latest AMD chipset drivers but are same as as last ones from Asus. Maybe I should install original ones (couple of versions behind). I'll try that now.
    PS.
Nope, same sh.....tuff. Still listed as Disk Drive (removable).
    Ps. Ps.
After few minutes it showed as CD/DVD drive and it reads !!! Now I don't have Relive Control panel !!!

I see a lot of new reports at feedback hub from users with DVD-drive issues similar to what we have seen here. I bet it's a Windows BUG, not a driver issue.

    Issues I've seen:
    • DVD detected as HDD
    • DVD detected as Removable Drive
    • DVD not showing up at all in Explorer
    • DVD showing up in Explorer but can't read discs
    • Drivers/device can't start according to device manager

Just woke up and the upgrade to build 16186.0 completed. So my path for Hyper-V VM running on Windows 10 IP Build 16362.0

Build 16278 -> Build 16291 Slow Ring -> Build 16296.0 Fast Ring. I'll convert this VHDX to a VMDK when I get the chance.

Ugh! I woke up and the Acer was booted into the CU partition and sleeping. I forgot I changed the boot order to CU first. Had to finish installing the cumulative, drivers, and other updates. Doing disk cleanup and defrag before updating to 16296. This is one slow train.
