You've changed Sata ports recently? Your Disk 0 (boot) became Disk 1...
No it has always been disk 1

It's from your posted pictures, just that it's the opposite... Your DVD was connected to sata 1 port, now your C: drive is at sata 1 (disk 0).

Josey - just to let you know, I logged out of my insider for a while to do some things on CU. When I went back, no CD/DVD and in device manager, once again, identified CD/DVD drives as standard basic drives. When I refreshed drive list, however, it identified them and located them as CD/DVD drives. Sorry you are having so much trouble with this build, but it would certainly appear that there is a problem with ID of drives --- a very basic task for an operating system, I would think. However, I think the more that gets added to the operating systems the more problems we are going to see. Wait until the next iteration of rs4!!!!!

PS I added problem to Feedback hub -- again

It's Windows problem anyway. It shouldn't matter at which port DVD drive is... Looks like you got all the Insider bugs

I know now how it happened. I was using one of those SSD Hot Swap cases and I would just swap the cu for the Preview. Then I saw that the drives were getting to hot so I placed it back by the fan so SSD 0 did become SSD 1.

Next time, just move the fan!
