Looks like this is mainly for the SP3 problem.

Could be, Keith, but I'm downloading now and going back to bed.

    Woke up and couldn't sleep, and here's a new Build . . .

    Build 16294 Update
1st attempt to update failed at Configuring updates 5%
Booted back into 16291 immediately, no restoring previous version message.
2nd attempt proceeded normally to Working on updates, stayed on 14% then flashed to 30%. Restarted, lost video temporarily at 33% video returned and switched to my primary monitor (this is as usual, 1st stage is on monitor 3, which is driven by on-board graphics.)
Incremented rapidly to 54% and remained with that % shown then jumped to 75%. Restarted, as usual the post screen appeared on Mon #3, with the throbber, and a message "Updating your system 100%." 1st time I've seen that message on Mon #3.
Video disappeared. There was regular drive activity for about 15 minutes, after several minutes of very little drive activity at 25 mins after losing video I powered off, and on again.
After 3 auto attempts to boot, the system did start, and "Working on updates" 75% appeared on my primary monitor. That progressed to 98%, system rebooted with some 'post' video, but then no video for almost 2 minutes. Log on (lock) screen appeared, "Hello" recognised me, another 1 1/4 minutes and all monitors had video and Edge auto-loaded (as is normal after an update.)
I have a Hyper-V virtual machine set up on the Insider system.
Insider is now running build 16294, with no immediately obvious problems. I have rebooted again and all seems normal.
    Feedback posted.

This is updating smoothly. And repeated use of Disk Cleanup does seem to be freeing up space. But there is more hidden junk which I will suss out. Announcing Windows 10 Insider Preview Fast Build 16294 for PC-free-space.png
