Strange update here, different to any other. Took a long time for video to re-appear after the 75% restart, and now I have had a dialog titled "Install Windows" with this message.
"Windows could not complete the installation. To install Windows on this computer, restart the installation."
That box was over the message "Don't turn off ... " The throbber was still circling, there was some drive activity, no response to mouse or keyboard.
Turned the machine off after about 10 minutes. Turned it on, a very long boot up time, Video eventually appeared on my primary monitor, with "Working on updates 100%" it then went to the log-on and now it is running Build 16291.0. I have 3 monitors, the other two were disabled, but I have enabled them.

This was typed on my Surface while I was waiting for some progress, so the "now I have a dialog ... " should be "I had a dialog"
    Now using 16291.

Downloading now at 88%. Kinda late to the party, but I'll get there.

I’m still installing my HP laptop which is downloading a new nvidia driver. Wish MS would stop downloading drivers; they keep screwing up many of our systems — the ‘Updated’ drivers do not match the hardware and then the rollback option is grayed out so you can’t roll back. You have to go on a wild goose chase to find the correct driver. At the very least they could leave the old driver as a roll-back option. I’ve had this with video and with network drivers in recent builds.

I had some serious networking issues in 16288 too. Nvidia GFX has been a PITA after Windows updates for me since Windows 8.

Just got used to the workflow of re-installing the latest webdrivers after many Windows updates ever since.

    Cheers

All smooth here. Took longer this time. Probably cause I've got so much "necessary" junk on it! :)

Never have had it change NVidia drivers on me....still have 385.41. 1080 Ti.
