Did you try physically disconnecting the drives, boot up, shutdown, reconnect drives, boot up again and let the drivers reload themselves? Just a thought.
Yep, my first reflex motion is to do that.

You asked why I posted what I posted, I explained it as well as I could. In my opinion, leaving a question directly addressed to me unanswered would be impolite.

A global community like TF with 100K+ members, each and every of us who have been here a bit longer have some members we dislike. I for instance know for sure that I am on quite a many ignore lists after correcting false information when the member in question does not tolerate being corrected, me having said something on a bad day they consider rude or various other reasons.

Some members choose another way to react to posts from members they dislike instead of ignore list, downplaying, depreciating and questioning the information given.

Whatever the reason, sometimes too much is too much. In this particular case, I felt offended when I posted something in my opinion quite relevant to topic of this thread, Insiders, Insider program and current affairs related to them, getting an almost instant and in my opinion rude reply "What does this have to do with us?". That reply clearly had one point only, and I reacted with the reply you then asked about.

Because the reply I got directly questioned the relevance about the information I had given in my post, I felt it important to compare the relevance of it to relevance of some posts of this member.

    Extremely sincere,

    Kari
Yes , I probably would have replied the same way you did. Sometimes one has to,

So 24 pages in, and I haven't read about any serious complaints from this latest build. Is it the opinion of most on here that this build is rock solid, or did I miss something?
Another question I'm interested in is whether most of you are on active development, or did you choose to skip ahead to the next windows release? I was gone for a while, and am a little confused by this choice. Thanks for all responses in advanced.

...and countMike, I don't mean this to be offensive so please don't take it that way, but why are you still using CD/DVD's???? I haven't even had a DVD drive for, oh I would say more than seven years. So it stuck out to me when I read your post. I'm truly interested if it is just old software you don't want to push past, or something else... Cheers!

No offense of course but I have to use CD/DVD for various reasons, I have 1000 + CDs and DVDs which would take large HDDs to put everything on, backups for a company or two I was administering network and fixing computers, also have a hole in the case that needs plugging in.

We all have bad days including certain me. Sorry if I posted on such a day. Since we are posting on thread about a Skippy build that's almost three weeks old I find myself getting annoyed with everybody. Should we get a report from the Insider team just what they learned during Ignite that would be very helpful. I'm afraid I'm not holding my breath.

I expect they hugged and kissed a lot and maybe even planted a tree or two.

A nice feature I would like in RS4 would be ability to reorder the options in the settings menu. Updates and Security is the one I use most, and it is annoying to have to keep scrolling down to see it or always have menu full screen.

    Time to visit feedback hub.
