No cigar. Bloody failed again. That's about ten attempts. You win Microsoft, I'm giving up! Releasing better software next build please.

    Oh

Are you sure you disabled Defender just before you went to WU page in settings? This is an important step, as Defender gets enabled again after a reboot.

Your advice is defeating the object of the exercise.....are you expecting all W10 users throughout the world, both experienced and novices to perform all those actions when trying to update to rs3?
I think you in fact misread Slice's posts. He was in no way telling all Insiders should do that every time, he was just giving a pretty well thought workaround for a member who seems to be unable to upgrade.

The very next post of yours shows that maybe you should try those instructions yourself:

Without doing anything in updating, I now have an endless loop reinstalling unsuccessfully....reverting back to 16281.
Of course, if this is once again one of those ridiculous "A real Insider does not use any workarounds, it's against the spirit of Insider Program" issues some members have posted, then of course in case the upgrade fails you just forget this build and wait the next build, not trying any workarounds to get it.

Just a reminder geeks, if the upgrade continuously fails you might want to try this method to get the ISO and then upgrade using it: Use Hyper-V virtual machine to get Windows 10 Insider ISO Windows 10 Virtualization Tutorials

That's what I had to do because I never got this version offered on WU.

Only issue is iTunes store doesn't work. I tried to reset Winsock but it doesn't work. Got any ideas? :)

Night Light do not work in this build

A bug i have and saw in the past is the Suggested apps won't disappear from the Start menu when i click on Don't show this suggestion. It's like the Start menu doesn't refresh.

And you expect all of the people on this fine planet of ours to do the same?

I can't get it, how can you geeks read what's posted so wrong? Or is it intentional; by purposely misquoting you can use it for your own agenda?

An extract from my earlier post:

We have to release our frustrations somewhere! I do it too sometimes (yesterday actually). I do however also wonder how twisting words into own liking helps solve any issues.

The following is not intended to @Kari only, but to everybody here:
Anybody feel free to blame me for every issue in Windows if it makes you feel better. But it won't help Windows install any better. We get what we get from MS and we have to live with it and report to MS the best we can if we want any change and improvements in the WU process and other issues we may or may not face in the future. :)

Really good point! Upgrading and creating ISOs in Hyper-V with a clean base usually works really well. Has saved me many times!
