TC, @f14tomcat it could be big issue. On page 4 there are some Zardoc's posts (same user here) about having link to GodMode, or shortcut to it in a folder, where Office would search for hyperlink source...

I'll check it in a day or two, because I have one computer that do exactly this, but not here...

What I mean is that if you create the God mode shortcut and put it in your Docs folder, you will not be able to insert hyperlinks with any version of office.

This problem has only begun to appear with version 1703 and up.

I just tested using the shortcut downloaded from Option 1, and was able to move it into the Quick Launch folder for it to then show up in Quick Launch on the taskbar.

You might see if that will work for you as well.

Update:

#WindowsInsiders who are having trouble with SP3 (Surface Pro 3) & the latest build, we know about it, are investigating & will have more info on Monday.

Guess that might be why I don't have any issues with God Mode....I don't have Office.

Ohhhhhhh! I've never done it that way! I've always just gone to Start, found the program, and either dragged it to QL or clicked on More > open file location and drag from there (preferred method; more stable).

Of course, there's nothing in Start to indicate God Mode.
