Thanks I might do that but it would be interesting to find out why it’s failing to install considering it’s never failed before

Thanx Andre, not too bad.. seems there has been quite a bit of optimization then, to retain it's size.

BTW.. Anyone tried this from MDL?

My d/l speed @ home is super slow so gave up - will give it a go when I'm at work tomorrow.

It bypasses the WU service and gets the files directly from the WU server (kind of like Techbench/Heidoc does with ISO's)

Click again on that link, in the mail said that we visit the site after September 14 and, in my case, the link already works.

This build broke my day to day OS installation. Not a big deal, but it almost didn't happen before. When I rebooted to it, it prompted for repair.

Last time I checked the Windows release files total size, it was only 170GB though it should be around 192GB or more.

My solution does not work in the case of missing binaries on the Windows Update servers. I think you have to wait a bit longer and keep trying or just wait for next build. :)

this comes up after every fail
installing EN-GB
then click on retry downloads and installs then reboots updates all the way till end but reverts back to 16281
