I didn't use your post as a reference. In fact, before you mentioned it now I didn't even remember you have posted something along those lines. That's why I said "as some members have posted", not referring to any specific member.

My opinion still stands: posts about what being real Insider means and what a real Insider should and shouldn't do are just ridiculous. We are supposed to test pre-release builds in any possible way.

I find the above rather funny as it is you that are doing it.:) Sliceandice is a great member and a great insider.

They get flooded with responses as there are millions on the insider builds and they simply can't reply. In the end we are just beta testers and our systems reports back automatically all the info that they care about. The feedback hub is just marketing and Microsoft isn't going to really deal with anything on there unless it gets 100,000 votes and even then they will only take action if they feel it is the direction that they want to go.
Then they should not ask for your email address, like I said I am done with it and the program is being restructured.

I just checked and the notice that updates aren't ready yet is gone, but now I'm being told the system is up to date. However, checking WinVer shows me Build 16281, not Build 16288. I've checked and I'm still on the Fast Ring.

    Anyone else seeing this?
i saw this two times but finally went away and update completed.

Come on guys, in the free world, we are all allowed to take opposing views and disagree with each other, but there is no reason why we should get into personal "discussions".

Personally, I do not care what others think a Real Insider is, or what other persons expectations are.

I know what I am - a person who tests things, and has been involved in commercial software development for many things, and I can say one thing for sure - UUP is not ready for the mass public.

Is there anybody out there who can disagree based on the overwhelming evidence seen on this forum alone (and I can tell you same is being repeated elsewhere)?

The only response I ever got was from DS when I tweeted her that build 16288 would not install. I posted hundreds of issues at The Hub with my email address and NEVER received a response. I gave them a suggestion that some sort of chat room should be set up for Insiders only-No response to that either. Something has to be fixed a build should not take 4-6 hours to install and work arounds by users are great but they should NOT be necessary.
I must admit that RS3 DO HAVE ISSUES with it's upgrade process and a lot of other issues too. When it works it works really well for me, but when it does not work that well, usually everything fail eventually.

A lot of the issues originates all the way from Vista...and it is surprising that same issues still remain and MS has done nothing to solve this.

Upcoming RS3 has been the most unreliable Windows for me since the insider program started. Right now, however it works really well for me, while others have a lot of issues with it. Go figure.

Mine performed very well, I just could not put it to sleep without it coming out of sleep to a restart.

Whoops! Have you read this, Oiler? How Windows Insider Feedback Influences Windows 10 Development - Windows Experience BlogWindows Experience Blog

The Feedback Hub isn't just marketing, and they do look at our feedback. I cannot imagine that any company would set up such a huge database just to keep us interested (marketing) in Windows 10.

If I had to guess, and it would only be a guess, I'd say that although our systems report back, that's not everything that interests the devs. Having said that, awhile back I was having weird shutdowns, and every time, I got a popup asking what I was doing when an unscheduled shutdown happened.

Check out the link I gave and you'll see an almost unimaginable scope of what the devs do with our feedback.

They probably have some algorithm for parsing messages to get relevant (for them) data otherwise it would require enormous resources just to see trends. That exists long time now and is extensively used for spying etc.
