This build is still not installing on my computer. I have restarted and have tried and tried again this morning and I still get the same results.

    HeHe,

mind you it would mean Kari's IsotoUUP tutorial would fail as you choose the version.

I was asking more because of concerns about validity, virus etc.

Actually installing EN-US does not really affect EN-GB much as you simply install EN-GB language pack and keyboard, then change a couple of things in regional menus. Once in a while, some of the screens use US spelling but we are toughened to that - we just lay back and think of England. Of course, when it comes to football - we are an ocean apart - LOL.
It'll work fine for clean install. Not so for upgrade (in-place upgrade), as you'll lose all applications.

I found at least one issue with the upgrade files. The most important file, ActionList.xml, which contains all info needed for UUP files download is missing the info for Downloads, Plans and Actions. No wonder nothing is happening, hahaha!

FWIW - attempts in a VM also flop.

I did a repair upgrade in a vm which had en-us (which I had not noticed/0 using an en-gb iso yesterday, and it never deleted apps etc - just told me had to change language pack.

Guess that's what the message means when it says "not ready yet". Imagine....having to actually tell it what to do before it can do it. :)

No - I am simply saying when you use UUPtoISO it creates a single edition iso, only containing the installed version. If you use that iso, you can only install that edition.

Another issue I found is that the WU files for this build on servers only contains 86GB of data when it should be closer to 192-200GB...

...this means MS has fixed nothing yet.
