Announcing Windows 10 Insider Build Slow 16288 PC + Fast 15250 Mobile Insider

They like to toy with people, even after CU was officially released, they kept saying, that 15063 is not RTM.

True but this is not quite ready for release and there is a month to go yet.

I tried reverting to earlier build(16281) and used the WU to update this morning, it worked fine and updated to 16288 without a hitch.

Actually only 1-2 weeks tops. It has to be done before the end of the month. Thursday or next Tuesday. :)

It's not being released until the 17th. They will be tweaking it right up to the release. Not new builds maybe but CUs.

There will be a few more rapid releases in the next couple of weeks. Based on past experience, it will be when we start getting updates via the normal in-build update mechanism, rather than UUP upgrades wil be the clue we have reached the RTM version.

Anybody that can help me with my networking issues in this build. The credentials for three devices are not working anymore. TIA!

After a day on 16288 I saw two Green Screens of Death and have chosen to revert back to 16281 which worked without incident. One of the screens happened while browsing in Edge, the other while machine sat idle.
I do not use Edge, but I've been running 16288 for days on my "main everyday" Dell XPS-8700 Desktop with NO problems. NO GSOD at all, and I run quite a lot of "third party" and "freeware" programs !!

RTM is always released a few weeks before, so they can send it to manufacturers to make drivers and etc.
They will only release ZDP (zero day patch) on 17th for Insiders, to make a few final touches.

After the last fiasco, I was kind of expecting a new build before the weekend!!!
After the last fiasco scramble that kept everyone (at Microsoft) up all night (most likely) looking for a solution, I'm pretty sure they didn't want to chance a repeat performance and destroy their weekend. :)
I'd say we'll get a new Build Monday or Tuesday. Which is fine for me.

Well, 16288 seems more and more like RTM candidate.
Yeppers. I can't find anything to dislike yet . . . but give me some time . . .
