Cumulative Update KB4038788 Windows 10 v1703 Build 15063.608

I just wanted to chime in that there have been issues for some HP users that explorer.exe hangs on startup, leaving you with a black screen and cursor.
Some have reported that people were getting 5-10 minute hangs, although for my wife's HP Spectre x360 it seems like it takes much longer.
That is what happened to my HP... took ages to install then a black screen for a while... I powered off with the power button and back on and it seems to be all OK.... tried a shut down and restart a couple of times and all seems OK ...I HOPE...
Did seem to take a very long time and the process seemed long..

WTF have they done to Edge?! It's a mess. I was first greeted by an unusual slow page load (on a SSDrive!) when I open it today after Windows pushed out this update to my PC. Then it went blank (white). Now it's starting to crash and recover when typing this comment. If Microsoft wants users to NOT use Edge then this tactic is working...
EDIT: OK, it seems calm for now. But I'm afraid to close and re-open it now just to experience this bug again.
EDIT2: It's happening again upon relaunch... But it seems that if I leave the tab open for a few seconds to a minute then it will sort itself out. Also, it seems to happen more frequently on the "news" homepage - when you first open Edge. And for some reason they activated the button to go to that homepage up next to the refresh button, I can't remember that being there.

My Edge is just blank. I don't use it much so no problem but ...!

Updated 2 laptops. Went fast and smooth. No HP related problems seen. My Edge browser (which I don't use) was blank at first and wouldn't do anything after doing the update but a laptop/Win 10 restart seems to have fixed it and now it appears to work normally.

I can't find why Disk Cleanup do not work ( stay at 3.71GB after run )
-
Edge is just utter crap, I don't use that effing browser. I'm more into Firefox or chrome.
-
My Edge is screwed up too. Even get the recover site message for some sites. Even got it for sevenforums. Going to fall back until they get it fixed.

Updated yesterday, so far so good. :)

I would let Windows do the update normally. My download/install picked up speed and finished rather quickly after I stopped using the computer and just let it do its thing.
I ended cancelling it. I then did the wuaserv stopping and cleaning of Software Distribution folder, then rebooted, but this time i started the download again with Windows Update. It checked for new updates, found them and started to download, but strangely it quickly jumped to "installing". History log shows it was installed, but is odd that it jumped quickly to installation when the download is almost 1GB, though so far no problems.
