Anyone having issue with Internet Explorer after update to 15063.608?
Only a cosmetic one, easily changed...
One other seems to have had a more serious issue though.
Internet Explorer 11 won't launch after Sept 13, 2017 Windows update
What's your issue?
hey guys my first post here.
I can't install the kb4038788. tried the windows update and the standalone package ~900mb
I've tried the troubleshooter (it repaired some stuff) but after that no luck with the updated
I've tried the sfc /scannow - returned some files are corrupted but it can't be fixed
i've tried the command lines with DISM to check the problems and repair
i've tried to delete the folders related to windows updated
well, so far i'm not able to install this update. I'm on the creators update 1703 15063.540
i have installed the same ISO used to install on my machine at virtual box, and the updated installed with no problems.
windows update is working because i have installed other updates before.
any more suggestions?

Everything OK here: no issues with Edge, except I had to type a URL into the address bar to kick it into action after start-up. Before then Edge showed 10 (TEN) errors in Reliability monitor, like so:
I switch around amongst IE, Chrome, Firefox, and Edge with fair frequency so I can avoid Edge if needs must. Wonder what's up, though?

Your next best bet is probably an in-place upgrade (repair install):
Repair Install Windows 10 with an In-place Upgrade
I'll try Edge again once I can navigate through a very extensive list of Favorites folders and subfolders by hovering and not have to click on anything until I reach the Favorites listing for the site I want. I can do that easily with FF Bookmarks. Haven't found any way to accomplish it with Edge yet.
I saved a system image of my test machine immediately after installing this update, so I've been able to experiment with the 'broken' Edge by reinstalling the image and trying various approaches.
I've found that (for me at least) the first time I open Edge it hangs on trying to access a web page. Close it and try again it still hangs. Close it and try a third time and it works normally.
