The release time is at 10AM PST, which is 1:00PM EST (which is where I am). That's about 90 minutes from now.

...and 6:00PM UK time. I'll be downloading the MCT as soon as it's publicly available. I already have the MCT that got leaked last week and used it to verify my test machine upgrades successfully - but I'm going to use the officially released media to upgrade my main machine (in an hour or so).

I am a firm believer in that Windows Update should be doing it's job for the masses so will wait again for that method to deliver. Although I think that might be a wait if the april creators update is anything to go by which didn't deliver until early September on our main Skylake, 980ti gpu machine. Our decrepit, snail like Brix box living room machine got it in May!

Anyway I hope there isn't the same nonsense with the privacy settings and the associated privacy settings kb this time around. I am sure that slowed things down and the fact I found an entry for privacy settings in the start menu right after installing the Kb and clicked it without allowing it to pop up naturally didn't help.
