Hi, Marty. You can set the delay in Snipping tool to 5 seconds, press "New" or Ctrl/N, Snipping tool window will disappear, do whatever you need to do, and then the snip window will appear after 5 seconds.

I do wish the delay was increased to 10 seconds, or even a figure could be entered. Even 5 seconds is not long enough sometimes.

Agree. I wonder if there's a Registry hack for that. It may involve the UI, though.

Small footnote to @Kari post re Screenpresso Announcing Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 16353 for PC (Skip Ahead) Insider - Page 19 - Windows 10 Forums

Get all screens up that you want, then hit Print Screen on KB. You can then maneuver the shot area anywhere you wish.

I don't know, Edwin, but it looks like Microsoft has gone the way of the OEMs. Stuff our computers with PUPs to make a little extra money.
    FRIG!!! Again!!!
Every morning I gotta 'uninstall' these!!!
(I'm going back to an earlier Build, or maybe an earlier decade!)

@Edwin I'm sure you've tried tricks like this, but how are you uninstalling them? Right-click uninstall, or nuclear option?

    Example - Solitaire, using PS....

    Get-AppxPackage *solitairecollection* | Remove-AppxPackage

May I ask, in what way do these make your Windows 10 unusable?

I used right click > Uninstall and they didn't show up again (until next build I presume).

Tried everything. Got 'suggested content', blah, blah, blah turned off. No go.

I don't mind you asking! :) Just a bunch of 'half baked' install on demand icons on the Start Menu looks a mess. (Not to mention the 'New' tag!)

That's very strange, you can use this option in Winaero Tweaker to see if it solves the problem:
