Ok. Let me rephrase it > The no-name Favorites bar icons can be quickly changed switched to include names by means of a right click context menu.

I actually took Dona at her word of mainly Fast Ring for a while. I think we will see another Fast Ring by the weekend, as time is getting short for them. Beer money says a Skippy next Wednesday

I think that we will get another fast ring on Friday.

Today or next week sometime. Nobody in Redmond is gonna want to hang around the Friday of a long Holiday weekend to push a button. (all wishful thinking....:))

Thanks, but I have to say that we do need to phrase tech properly otherwise it is confusing.

Favorites bar in Edge with both long names and no names working great here. no issues at all. Only problem I have is the glitchy rendering engine that tries to save resources causing items to disappear from the screen.
I went to that tech supply site that you posted yesterday and had no problems with rendering. You have great system resources. I wonder what's going on there. Do you have that problem on your laptop with CU build?

That has got to be weird as my Edge is either names or no names but no mixture. How can there be two behaviours???
I see what you're getting at with these features. Again, Edge is in development just the same as any browser or software. Admittedly it wasn't all that good when first released. I just recently switched from IE to Edge just a couple of builds ago because it started becoming stable and fitting my needs. In my CU partition also, although Edge is not that far advanced there. I'm looking forward to the FU there.

Bottom line is that I'm here to test MS software, whether I like it or not. When my patience runs thin on something I simply switch to something else for awhile.

Oh? Within the this Insider build? I had no problem, but that was a half dozen builds ago. What was the error message you received?

Right now my 15063 machine with latest updates does not have this issue, but sometimes I get these kinds of glitches. On my Insider machine with 16278 I most often have this issue, but sometimes it disappears. I have no idea what is going on there...

This is what I get when already signed in to office365 (the web version of office) and after clicking the download Office button.
