Announcing Windows 10 Insider Preview Slow Build 16278 for PC Insider

An additional bummer for me. My 100GB download limit at full speed (50/10) has expired and it slowed down to 2/2MBPS. Now it's going to take long time to download and interferes with other internet activities.

That is where being in UK is great - broadband competition is so fierce that virtually all packages are unlimited and very cheap.

Updated overnight again so I don't know how long it took this time.

Downtown is only 12 clicks from my place but I have very limited options for internet comparing to center. This is 4G wireless I have as ISP, relatively fast but limited in DL size. This is first time the cut my speed down after 100GB, usually let me go to 120 - 150GB. Only other options for me are 5GHz WiFi and even slower cable with cable TV bundled up and a bad record with internet cutouts. To add insult to injury there's optical cable going right by my house but there's nobody to make an ISP and use it. There are some promises for next year or two. Some US company took over our largest ISP+ cable TV company. Just yesterday I received a letter from them with plans for greater expansion. Problem is that only about 50% of government is online and going off paper.
There are many small companies doing ISP but they are concentrated in city centers.

Here in Finland we get 300/50Mbit LTE with unlimited data. Fast and cheap considering we are talking mobile tech. They are already talking about Gbit speeds too and test has been done. :)

I believe Telenor is Finnish ? We have it here but are greatly falling behind other 3 large mobile providers. As matter of fact I had to switch from them because of lousy business practices.. They kept on changing plans and prices without notice or keeping with signed contract.
