Bleeeeeh, 'This update does not count for your PC'. 'Deze update geldt niet voor uw PC'.

Well, it was worth a shot... (had the correct one, 64-Bit)

Just the latest windows 10 pro 64bit... I'd rather wait for the official windows update via the normal way.

The latest 1607 or the latest 1703? It makes a difference, KB4039396 is only for 1607.

Maybe I've just been lucky, but I've not found it a struggle. My machine took the free upgrade from Windows 7 and each of the subsequent versions as updates, not clean installs. Its more stable now on 1703 than it's ever been before (BSOD were regular in Win7, even after an OEM factory reset).
Twins!! lol. Well I can say the exact same thing for my 1607, ever AFTER a trip to 1703 and rollback. Never gotten another WU notification for 1703 since, but did a fresh install of that one on another hard drive for testing and just in case I decide to jump ship over to 1703 for good, should it never come through again on 1607. 1703 still feels a tiny little bit snappier, but not to the degree I would've expected it to given the fresh install vs an old grown 1607.
